  • Jordan Valley Solidarity International Activists Gathering 10th - 13th November 2012

    We will be hosting the first ever gathering of Jordan Valley activists from around the world in Brighton from 10th - 12th November. This will be followed by a one day event in London on 13th November, when we will give a presentation to NGOs, hold a meeting in Parliament, and end the day with a press conference.

    Jordan Valley Solidarity are constantly challenging Israel's ethnic cleansing of local communities through supporting communities to stand firm when they are threatened, and by building local community projects.
    They depend on donations to continue this work.

The level of harassment of Palestinian communities by the Israeli army and settlers has been building up over the last few months.     At our meeting last week we decided to change our name to Brighton Jordan Valley Solidarity.

    This reflects the importance of working with communities in the Jordan Valley who are resisting attempts by Israel to ethnically cleanse it of Palestinians ready to claim it for themselves and the illegal settlers who already control much of the valley.
